Magic 8 Ball (And more!) for Playdate

Turn your Playdate into a Magic 8 Ball, a dice roller, a lottery number generator, and a physics playground.

Move the ball by tilting the console or using the D-pad. Use the crank to change its size, mass, and behaviour.

Hold the B button to aim a shot. Use the crank or the D-pad to choose the angle, adjust the power, then release B to launch the ball.

The application includes four modes:

• Magic 8 Ball with 20 classic answers
• Customizable dice roller
• Lottery number generator
• Coin flip

You can also adjust the physics settings directly from the system menu.

Controls

• Tilt or D-pad: Move the ball
• Shake: Apply force
• Crank: Resize the ball
• Hold B: Enter aiming mode
• Crank or D-pad Left/Right: Adjust the angle
• D-pad Up/Down: Adjust the power
• Release B: Launch the ball
• A button: Reset and generate a new result
• System Menu: Change modes, edit physics, or show the current result
